NXTGEN didn’t start as a corporate contractor—it started in the field. Matayo Hampton learned telecom fundamentals the hard way: ladders, rooftops, terminations, testing, and the discipline required to do it right the first time. That foundation evolved into Western Data, a California-based construction and service organization known for speed, workmanship, and responsiveness.
As our clients expanded, the work expanded with them. We began supporting ISP rollouts and MDU environments where reliability, documentation, and repeatable QC matter more than any single “hero fix.” That shift led to NXTGEN Telecom: a B2B operator designed for construction, diagnostics, stabilization, and national deployments across complex properties.
NXTGEN HomeTech remains a residential division built on the same standards—commercial-grade methods, proper testing, and professional execution—yet our Telecom business is purpose-built for ISPs, REITs, and network operators who need scalable field delivery with measurable outcomes.
Today, NXTGEN Telecom supports brownfield overbuild installations, greenfield deployment support, field services, and rapid response stabilization. Matayo built his career in the field—installing, troubleshooting, and leading crews long before “telecom operations” was a job title. That foundation shaped how NXTGEN operates today: clean workmanship, disciplined testing, and an uncompromising standard for doing it right the first time.
Through Western Satellite and the growth of Western Data, Matayo developed repeatable delivery methods for ISP and MDU environments—where speed matters, but precision and documentation matter more. He remains deeply involved in technical strategy, complex site conditions, and field execution frameworks.
Under Matayo’s leadership, NXTGEN has stayed field-first while scaling to support national deployments—without losing the craft that built the company.
David Bockorny

David brings extensive experience scaling telecom operations, partnering with property stakeholders, and building execution systems that perform under real-world constraints.
